Moderator: Mr. ZHU Shu, Head of ICLEI East Asia (South Korea) Beijing Representative Office

　　ICLEI is the world's largest sustainable development cooperation organization among local governments, which is established with the support of the United Nations, with more than 2500 city and regional government members from 125 countries. ICLEI focuses on five paths to sustainable development: low carbon, resilient, nature based, recycling and people-oriented. It supports local governments to seek solutions through cooperation and jointly promote local sustainable development. Mr. Zhu Shu has accumulated rich international experience in the fields of sustainable development and regional cooperation. Before joining ICLEI, he served as the head of the Secretariat of GTI of the United Nations Development Programme, worked closely with governments and institutions in Northeast Asia, and made important contributions to the effective promotion and implementation of this intergovernmental cooperation mechanism. He also worked for the People's Daily and served as director of government affairs at Australian Telecom. Mr. Zhu Shu received a joint master's degree in comparative local development of the EU Erasmus project.
