Mr. LIJunfeng, former Director, National Climate Change Strategy Research and International Cooperation Center
Mr. Li Junfeng has been engaged in the research of energy economy and energy environment theory for a long time. As the person in charge or responsible expert, he has presided over a number of national major research projects, such as national follow-up energy technology development research, renewable energy law legislation research of the People's Republic of China, research on major issues of macro strategy of China's low-carbon development, etc. Among them, Beijing's rural energy development planning, research on renewable energy law legislation and research on the overall idea of the national macro strategy for low-carbon development have won the second prize of excellent research achievements of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Development and Reform Commission.
Mr. Li Junfeng was the first director of the National Center for strategic research and international cooperation on climate change and director of the academic committee. Now he is a senior consultant of the center.He was awarded the ninth Zayed Future Energy Lifetime Achievement Award in January 2017 In addition, he is a member of the National Energy Advisory Committee, the National Committee of High Technical Experts, the National Committee of Experts on Ecological and Environmental Protection, and a low-carbon development consultant to the People's governments of Beijing, Shanghai and Shanxi Province. He is also a part-time professor and doctoral supervisor at Renmin University of China.
