Mr. CHAI Fahe, Researcher and former vice director of Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences
He has long been engaged in the research on atmospheric environmental science and regional air pollution control technology,and achieved a series of innovative results in various fields, such as applied and basic theory in atmospheric environmental science and management, urban and regional air quality improvement technologies, cause analysis of heavy atmospheric pollution and coping technologies, and key technologies for comprehensive air pollution prevention and control and their application. In the past two decades, with the support of severalnational and municipal research projects, Chai focused research on the sources and causes of air pollution in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas, technical pathways for air quality improvement, and theories on response to and joint prevention and control of heavy pollution. In addition, he has investigated and guided air pollution prevention and control in key cities, which supportsintegrated air pollution control and air quality management at national, regional and municipal levels
