Guido Lanzani (Head of Air Quality Unit, ARPA LOMBARDIA)

　　Graduate in Physics, Post Doc in Health Statistics, Executive Master in Public Management.  He has been the head of Air Quality Unit of ARPA Lombardia, the Regional Environmental Agency, since 2001. His responsibilities in the current positions  include:

　　Coordination of the Environmental Protection Agency activities in developing laws and standards about air quality, on the base of technical and scientific evidence, and expert and stakeholders consultations, NGO included. Technical support to Regional Government to delineate strategies and adopt measures to improve air quality and climate change adaptation and mitigation Evaluations and monitoring of different policies on air quality improvement. Coordination of the Environmental Protection Agency activities in information to public and Authorities about air quality, sustainable development and climate change, including the preparation of annual and monthly reports, press releases about these subjects.

　　In the current position, Guido is leading a team composed by 51 technicians.
