He is Director of Statistics and Evaluation Department of Beijing Climate Change Management Center. Dr. Chen graduated from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is currently a member of the Climate Change Branch of the National Environmental Science Association. He was selected into the first Youth Top Talent Program of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Beijing Youth Top Talent Program. Chen has been engaged in the long-term research on low-carbon city and urban greenhouse gas inventories, carbon emission trading system, and resource and energy policy and technology research, supporting Beijing’s climate change authority to promote the pilot construction of carbon emission trading in Beijing, and participating in the formulation of large number of carbon trading policies and preliminary basic research.
