Professor at Tsinghua University and Director of Air Pollution and Control Teaching and Research Institute. Wang Shuxiao is engaged in researches on regional atmospheric combined pollution formation and control, atmospheric pollutant emission characteristics and inventory, transfer and transformation of regional atmospheric pollutants, mutual effect between air pollution and climate, air pollution control strategy, etc. Wang Shuxiao is the responsible person in charge of the work of "key project of heavy air pollution causes and treatment" in Beijing City. She has conducted in-depth studies on the causes of pollution in Beijing City and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.
