Mr. ZHANG Qiang, Professor of Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University
Mr. Zhang Qiang is Deputy Dean of the Department of Earth System Sciences, Tsinghua University, and distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education. Zhang is also the Secretary-General of the China Working Group of the Global Emissions Research Program, and is the Deputy Editor or editorial board member of several academic journals such as Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics and Scientia Sinica (Terrae). Zhang’s main research field is the change of atmospheric composition and the impact of climate environment. Zhang has published more than 200 papers, including more than 20 papers published by Nature and sub-journals, PNAS and Lancet, and was selected as Clarivate Analytics’ Global Highly Cited Scientists in 2018-2019. Zhang has successively won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Kozarelli Award of the National Academy of Sciences, the China Youth Science and Technology Award, etc.
