Zhang Dawei (Deputy Director General, Air Quality Department, Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE))
Zhang Dawei, Researcher and Ph.D in Environmental Engineering, Tsinghua University. Zhang successively served as Director of the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Monitoring Center, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, and is currently the Deputy Director of the Atmospheric Environment Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Zhang has won 6 awards including the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award, and the titles of “National Environmental Protection Professional Technical Leader”, “National Environmental Monitoring First-class Expert”, etc.
