Maria Ziesche (European Energy Exchange (EEX))

　　Ms. Maria ZIESCHE is a Senior Market Operator in the Market Operations department at the European Energy Exchange (EEX) AG. She has a special focus on Environmental Markets and Emerging Power Markets, and she is responsible for operating the Emissions Spot and Futures Market as well as the emissions auctions at EEX since 2010. Thanks to her long-term experience and role as first-level support for all trading related matters she has contributed valuable market insights for the development of the EU ETS auction design. Moreover, she has supported all EEX auction tenders with technical background and profound market knowledge. Maria has joined EEX in 2009 and holds a University of Applied Sciences Degree in Engineering and Business from the HTWK Leipzig, Germany.
